Mountfield 2240H Twin-Cylinder

The Mountfield 2240H is designed for gardens of up to 4 acres.

Mountfield lawn tractors are designed to cut wider than the wheel width, allowing mowing right up to the edges and borders.

The Mountfield 2240H has a 102cm (40″) cutting width and 7 cutting heights that range from 30mm to 90mm

The 2240H has a high performing STIGA ST600 twin-cylinder 586cc engine you can expect plenty of power to get mowing done quickly and efficiently. Lawn tractors with V-Twin engines offer greater power and versatility to mow large areas or use light-weight attachments on a regular basis.

Hydrostatic transmission allows ultra-smooth operation, Changing from forward to reverse is seamless, light steering and a tight turning circle ensure manoeuvrability is easy around your garden even if you have obstacles.

The 2240H has a twin bladed cutter deck not only will the grass be trimmed neatly it will also be cut into very fine clippings, it features an alarm for when the grass collector reaches full capacity ensuring it doesn’t become overfull and clogged up. Empty the collector from the driving seat, simply back the lawn tractor up to the compost heap and pull the lever.

The Mountfield 2240H lawn tractor is versatile, Choose between collecting grass, discharging it or mulching. Which you choose will very much depend on your requirements but also on the condition and length of your grass.

It also feature a quick connect washing link, simply attach a hose to the Snap-On connector, turn on the water and engage the blades. Water blasts around beneath the deck washing it clean.

The Mountfield Freedom 38e battery garden tractor is a brand new battery-operated lawn tractor that offers a viable and reliable alternative to a standard petrol ride-on lawn mower. It is one of the first 48v battery-powered ride-on lawnmowers in the UK that harnesses cutting-edge lithium-ion cell technology.

This is a machine that can challenge a petrol-powered ride-on in so many ways. Virtually maintenance-free, the Mountfield Freedom 38e runs extremely smoothly and gives emits zero emissions and it is extremely quiet.

The new Mountfield Freedom 38e garden tractor is a high performing and solidly built lawn tractor.

The 98cm (38″) cutting deck is powered by 2 brushless motors meaning it is belt and pulley free, the twin blade motors supplying 1.5kW of power per blade, results in a faster blade speed and superior finish. Cleaner and quieter, operating at 4dB less noise than a traditional petrol deck, the Mountfield Freedom 38e represents the future in lawn tractors. It’s powerful yet unbelievably quiet and emits zero emissions and therefore you have a machine that is a real joy to operate.

Battery power is simple, convenient, quiet and clean. It’s driven by a powerful 48V 30Ah premium brand lithium Ion battery cells with a run time of up to 45 minutes to cover grounds of up 3500m2.

The responsive pedal-operated transmission is simply to get to grips with and really puts the fun back into mowing the lawn. The Freedom 38e is aimed at lawns of up to 3500m2 and with a generous cutting width of 98cm (38″) and 7 cutting heights ranging from 25mm all the way up to 80mm it’s easy to see that even on a lawn of that size.

THE MOUNTFIELD 1736H TWIN

The Mountfield 1736H Twin is a fantastic garden tractor. Powered by a 586cc Mountfield ST 600 Twin engine and sporting hydrostatic transmission and a reverse gear, the 92cm wide cutting width makes light work of large lawns up to 2.5acres.

Forward speed changes are smooth – from a standing start to 8.8km/h and with electromagnetic blade engagement it is easy to use and highly efficient.

The cut quality is superb, and clippings can either be collected in the 290-litre collector fitted at the rear of the garden tractor or, after fitting the mulching plug supplied with the garden tractor, can be finely cut as you mow and discharged back onto the lawn surface. Once there they rot down adding vital nutrients back into the soil.

If using the collector, emptying is easy – it can all be done from the driver’s seat. Seven different blade heights are possible meaning that the 1736H can tackle every lawn length.

The 1736H Twin is backed by a five-year extended warranty.
